Domaine Combel La Serre

Château Combel la Serre is located in the Cahors region of the Lot, in the South-West of France. It was founded in 1998 by Jean-Pierre and Martine Ilbert. Jean-Pierre worked in a cooperative cellar, which he decided to leave to settle on the plot of Combel where they live and which is planted with vines.
La Serre is the name of the plot opposite where the farm buildings are located. In the early years, they sold the wine "in bulk" by the hectolitre in order to initiate the investments necessary for the operation: construction of a new cellar, purchase of winery, wine-making equipment, etc. In 2003, when the son, Julien, officially moved in with his parents, they took a turn and decided to sell their bottled wine. Today, the estate covers 23 hectares, cultivated in certified organic farming.

This historic Bordelais estate is situated in Dardenac, a village that has been characterised by wine for centuries, with a history as rich as its terroir.

Domaine Vacheron is one of Sancerre’s most elite properties, producing wine of amazing purity and definition. Transformed over to biodynamic farming in 2005, the Domaine is managed by Jean-Laurent and Jean-Dominique Vacheron. They currently farm 34 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and 11 hectares of Pinot Noir with yields are kept extremely low. No synthetic material is used in the vineyard, harvests are carried out exclusively by hand, and the only fertilizer used is produced from the compost pile.

Domaine La Soufrandière

The Bret brothers, Jean-Guillaume and Jean-Philippe, have been at the top of the Mâconnais for more ten years with their Soufrandière estate and their Bret Brothers brand.
The Domaine de la Soufrandière, has been organically farmed since 2003 with organic and biodynamic certification since 2006. In the cellar, the wines are vinified with indigenous yeasts and pressed very gently in order to best respect the fruit. The vinifications remain very natural and the wine is then aged in oak barrels or stainless steel vats depending on the cuvée.
Saint Veran - Climat "La Bonnode"
An elegant biodynamic white wine with exceptionally well-balanced palate. Saint-Véran Climat La Bonnode, made of Chardonnay, is both gentle and harmonious on the finish.
Bret Brothers

Burgundy is in the blood of Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret, whose family have owned vineyards in the Mâcon for generations. However, these previous generations opted to sell their fruit to local cooperatives, rather than make wines for themselves. The Bret Brothers broke this tradition in 2000 when they took over the vines and established 'Domaine de la Soufrandière'.
In 2001, they set up Bret Brothers, the negociant side of Domaine de la Soufrandière. Here they buy top-quality, organically farmed grapes from 40+-year-old vines in small plots in the best sites in the Mâcon. They make these exceptional wines with the same level of care and attention to detail as their Domaine bottlings; investing time into the growers and helping craft the next generation in their region.
Men in Bret
A pure Gamay that is fun for every occasion, Men in Bret is an expressive wine that bridges perfectly the gap between "modern" and "classic" Burgundian styles.
