Discover Bibi Graetz from Toscana, Italy
Bibi Graetz is a maverick in the Tuscan wine scene. Based outside of Florence, working with old vineyards of indigenous grapes, he produces intense wines classified as IGT Toscana. He started to produce unique red wine blends of classic Tuscan varietals such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino in 2000. Two years later, he added white wines that are made from Ansonica and Vermentino to his portfolio.

As a son of Gidon Graetz - a sculptor, Bibi Graetz is an artist himself, he graduated from Florence’s Academia dell’Arte. He took over the winery from his family in the early 1990s at the age of 33. Breaking away from the Chianti Classico DOCG, Bibi Graetz made his first vintage of Testamatta “crazy head” – referencing Graetz’s radical approach in wine making.

Regularly scoring in high 90's in wine publications such as Wine Spectator and James Suckling, Bibi Graetz's wines are highly regarded among wine lovers and wine collectors around the world. Whatever the labelling, the wines from Bibi Graetz have to be tasted to be believed as they are all fine expressions of Tuscan wine.
